BRIDGET DILLON JOINS HALT, BUZAS & POWELL, LTD. AS AUDIT STAFF ACCOUNTANT

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 30 – CPA and management consulting firm Halt, Buzas & Powell, Ltd. (HB&P) announced today that Bridget Dillon has joined the firm as an Audit Staff Accountant.

Ms. Dillon earned both a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and a Master of Business Administration degree from Loyola University in Chicago. With an undergraduate double major in Accounting and Economics and a graduate concentration in Information Systems, she brings a wealth of knowledge to the firm.

Ms. Dillon has also already passed three parts of the CPA exam and expects to pass the fourth and final exam this month.

“We were impressed with Bridget’s academic achievements, and we were even more impressed that she was able to maintain a high GPA, work full time, and pass several parts of her CPA exam while working toward her advanced degree,” said Partner Steve Halt.

Immediately prior to HB&P, Ms. Dillon worked as a Mutual Fund Accountant for Jackson National Asset Management in Chicago. She also worked for Nuveen Investments as a Tax Reporting and Compliance Intern and as a summer intern for the U.S. Congress.
